The Algoma University Thunderbirds are proud to announce the return of broadcast duo Mike Magli and Daniel Scarpino as the voices of the 2025-2026 OUA men’s and women’s basketball season. Magli will once again take the helm as play-by-play announcer, bringing his signature energy and in-depth game knowledge, while Scarpino returns as colour commentator, offering sharp analysis and insightful commentary from his years of experience in the sport.

Fans can expect another season of dynamic coverage from the broadcast team, who have built a strong connection with the Algoma community and a reputation for excellence across OUA broadcasts. Their chemistry, professionalism, and passion for Thunderbird basketball ensure each game is delivered with excitement and expert insight.
